BATON ROUGE - Police announced Friday that U. S. Marshals arrested a suspect in connection with an October bank robbery in Baton Rouge.

Cpl. L'Jean McNeely said Marshals arrested Dustin Givens, 30, of Baton Rouge without incident early Friday morning. He was booked into the parish jail on suspicion of armed robbery.

Police said Givens, armed with a handgun, robbed the Regions Bank at 5950 Plank Road on Oct. 8. They said he disarmed the security guard in the bank before demanding cash from the teller, then fled on foot.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
