U-High product Patrick Reed claims first PGA Tour win
GREENSBORO, NC. - Former U-High Cub Patrick Reed claimed his first PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship Sunday, defeating Jordan Spieth in the second playoff hole.
The 23-year old rookie led the field by two strokes after ten holes, but Spieth came charging back to tie the two golfers at 14-under for the championship.
Reed missed a birdie putt on the first playoff hole to claim the win, but he made his second birdie opportunity after Spieth lipped out his try for a bird.
