BATON ROUGE – Baton Rouge Police are attempting to identify and locate two women who are wanted in connection of $13,000 of unauthorized charges on stolen credit cards.

On May 12, 2016 the two women entered My Sewing Shoppe in the 7600 block of Old Hammond Highway posing as customers. While one of the women distracted the employee by asking questions, the other woman took several cards from a purse that was behind the counter.

The two women then used the stolen cards at several other local businesses, according to BRPD.

Anyone with information about the identity of the two women are urged to call the Financial Crimes Division at 389-3871.
