BATON ROUGE - The SEC awarded two LSU players with Player of the Week honors after Saturday's win against South Carolina.

Defensive end Sam Montgomery and freshman running back Jeremy Hill were both recognized for their performances.

Montgomery, who was named Defensive Lineman of the week, forced a fumble and had two of LSU's four sacks in the win over the Gamecocks.

Hill was named co-Freshman of the Week, and had a career-best 124 yards rushing in the win, including the game-winning 50-yard touchdown run in the second half.
