FOURCHON - Two teens died this morning in a crash between a Lexus car and an eighteen-wheeler on LA Hwy 1, according to Louisiana State Police Tpr. Evan Harrell.
The car was driven by 19-year-old Taylor Caro of Houma. Caro was driving without wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead on the scene by the Lafourche Parish Coroner's Office, according to the release.
The passenger, 18-year-old Alexandra Blaisdell was also pronounced dead on the scene. Blaisdell was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
Harrell says the teens were struck on the driver's side at the LA 3090 intersection after running a stop sign.
