BATON ROUGE- Two people are under arrest after police found items used to make meth in a vehicle they were in.
Matthew Watkins, 32, and Ashley Stewart, 27, were pulled over on Florida Boulevard near Lobdell just after midnight. Police found Sufuric Acid, Drain-O, fertilizer, bottles of acid and other hazardous materials used to make crystal meth.
Hazmat crews and narcotics officers were called to the scene.
They were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on drug charges.
