BATON ROUGE – Two people with ties to Torrence Hatch, the rapper known as Lil Boosie, were in district court today.

Eddie Stewart and Ryan Carroll were indicted in connection with the killings of six people over the course of a year in Baton Rouge.

A new date was set to hear motions in their case on April 27. They also said a trial date would likely be set at that time.

Prosecutors have previously tied the two and others to Lil Boosie, who is accused in a murder-for-hire scheme and for smuggling drugs into a state prison.
