PORT ALLEN- The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says two Florida men arrested in Louisiana after a car chase last week have been charged with the beating death of a Florida woman.

Sheriff Mike Cazes said that Volusia County authorities charged Tyler McClain, 24, and Bradley Suntich, 25, with first-degree murder and attempted murder. The charges stem from the June 9 killing of 53-year-old Laura Hill and the beating of her 25-year-old daughter, Angela Hill. The pair then stole Hill's car and fled to Louisiana.

After they were chased and arrested by authorities in West Baton Rouge Parish deputies said one confessed to the attack, which led Port Orange Police to Hill's home. Port Orange Police said officers forced entry into the home and found the victims.

The women and both of the men are from Port Orange, Fla.

An extradition hearing is scheduled for today in Port Allen.
