Two men arrested in Plattenville on multiple drug charges
PLATTENVILLE - The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics division discovered drug paraphernalia, crack cocaine, methamphetamines, heroin, synthetic marijuana and two guns during a search warrant in Plattenville Friday.
Oscar Davis,38, of Plattenville and Alex Cedotal, 51 of Pierre Part were booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center Friday, according to Sheriff Mike Waguespack.
Davis was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute (Synthetic Marijuana), Possession of Schedule I (Heroin), Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the presence of Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile, two counts of Possession of a stolen firearm and Resisting an Officer.
Alex Cedotal was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on June 19th, 2015 for Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), Possession of Schedule II (Crack Cocaine).
Davis' bond was set at $186,500 and Cedotal's bond was set at $50,000. Both remain behind bars and have not bonded out at this time.
