Two houses shot up in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - A woman says people shot up her house early Thursday morning in Baton Rouge, because they were trying to kill her son.
The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on Ingram Drive in the Glen Oaks area. One house was riddled with at least 15 bullet holes, and another house was shot a few times. Neighbors say they woke up to the sound of gun fire.
"It's really scary because what if they were shooting at the wrong house which it seems like they were. But that could have easily been mistaken to shoot across this way right across from that house. It's very scary," said one neighbor.
No one was injured in the possible drive-by shooting. The homeowner believes the shooters were targeting her son who has gotten into some trouble. However, she says he has not lived at her house in a few months.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office would not go into detail about the shooting only saying that it is under investigation.
