Two dead, six injured in Slidell shooting
SLIDELL - A shooting in Slidell Thursday morning left two dead and six more injured, according to the Slidell Police Department. One of the victims died this morning after being listed in critical condition.
It happened around 1:30 am in Olde Town Slidell. Police say a fight broke out as bars were closing and someone opened fire.
Officers say 22-year-old Errol Scott was pronounced dead at the scene and 23-year-old Mark Womack died at a local hospital around 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
Slidell Police have identified a potential suspect but are not releasing any further information at this time.
