Two dead on Delphine Street
Police and EMS are on the scene of Delphine Street and Louisiana Avenue where two people were found dead behind a group home.
Neighbors say they heard at least seven gunshots ring out around 3 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Police drove through the neighborhood, but East Baton Rouge Police Department spokesperson L'Jean McNeely said they did not see anything suspicious in the neighborhood and left.
"Around 6:30 this morning, when the sun came up, we got another call about two people who were found shot to death."
Right now, police aren't saying much in the case. They are waiting to release the names of both men killed in the shooting until their families have been notified.
Both men were shot multiple times.
Investigators are still on the scene swabbing the victims for DNA and combing the scene evidence.
