Two BR Magnet High School students score 36 on ACT

BATON ROUGE – Two Baton Rouge Magnet High School seniors have earned perfect ACT scores.

Chi Cao and Nicholas Cole Roland both scored 36 on the ACT. Cao is a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Club and the BRMHS Orchestra. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin or Georgia Tech and major in chemical engineering. Cao is also a National Merit Semifinalist and National Advanced Placement Scholar.

Roland is a member of the BRMHS Choir and Orchestra. He plans on attending Princeton and major in neuroscience. Roland is also a National Merit Semifinalist and National Advanced Placement Scholar.

Only 2,235 of nearly 2.1 million students in the 2016 graduating class scored a 36 on the ACT. 14 Baton Rouge Magnet High School students have earned a perfect score on the ACT since 2012.
