Two bodies removed from Lake Pontchartrain
NEW ORLEANS - Officials have removed two bodies from Lake Pontchartrain, both of them roughly about a mile from the runway at the lakefront airport Wednesday.
The first body was reported found about 9 a.m.
The discovery of the body was followed shortly by the report of a second body.
There has been no positive ID on the bodies, but officials have been constantly monitoring the lake in search for flight instructor Burt Lattimore and student pilot Aftab Rab, whose plane went down last week.
