BATN ROUGE - Police arrested a 14-year-old and an adult in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month in Baton Rouge, and are searching for a third suspect.

Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said investigators arrested Juan Hebert, 21, today after he was released from the hospital. He'd been injured in the shooting the night of Nov. 6 on Wyandotte Street, where police said Derrick Marioneaux, 34, was killed.

McKneely said officers previously arrested a 14-year-old on Nov. 15, and charged him with first degree murder in Marioneaux's death. They said Hebert was accidentally shot by one of the shooters, and charged him with first degree murder as well.

Police also have an arrest warrant for a third suspect in the shooting, 20-year-old Benjamin Bailey. Anyone with information about Bailey's whereabouts should contact the Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869.
