Two men from Belle Rose were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Paincourtville last week, and deputies are still looking for a third suspect.

On September 15th, deputies say three masked black males were riding on a red three wheeler and fired several rounds into three residences on Grant Road injuring a 17 year-old male and a 25 year-old male.

Both victims were treated and released from the hospital later that afternoon.

Investigators found 29 bullet casings from an assault weapon or large caliber handgun on and around the roadway.

Antonio Herbert, Lashon Brown are charged with seven counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.

Kasey Carter remains at large.

Deputies believe Herbert, Brown, and Carter were retaliating for a drive-by shooting on Virginia Street the night before the Grant Road incident.

The case remains under investigation.
