A couple has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station at the corner of Staring and Highland Road.

Cheri Breard, 36, and Elliot Ambeau, Jr, 43, were found at the Staring Motel, near the scene of the crime. Authorities believe the two drove to the gas station, Ambeau, Jr. got out and robbed it and the two made a getaway.

Police say the two are also suspected in a robbery earlier today in Gonzales.
