Two arrested for stealing copper from FEMA trailers

HOLDEN - Livingston Parish Deputies arrested two men last week for stealing power cords from FEMA trailers near Holden to get the copper inside.

Deputies arrested Colt Anthony Pittman, 27, of Springfield and James A. Hood, 23, of Holden on burglary and theft charges.

Investigators said the men stole power cords from between 40 to 50 trailers.

Both men are currently held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center with a $20,000 bond for Pittman, and a $10,000 bond for Hood.
