BATON ROUGE - Authorities arrested two employees of the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Courts office this morning in suspicion of theft and drug charges.
Officers arrested William Bates Colvin, a supervisor at the office, as well as another employee, Debra Vicknair Bell.
Both were booked into the parish prison on charges of malfeasance in office, theft, and distribution or manufacture of Schedule 2 drugs, which include methamphetamines and opiates.
