Two accused of intimidating witness
BATON ROUGE - Police accused two men of threatening a witness this weekend in a 2012 Baton Rouge police investigation.
BRPD charged 21-year-old Keydrick Moses and 18-year-old Christopher Murray with intimidating a witness Sunday.
Investigators said the two men tried to start a fight with someone who gave statements to BRPD about a 2012 crime, telling the witness they would "pay" for testifying. Police said the witness ran when Murray and Moses tried to punch them, and was not hurt.
Detectives said Murray and Moses denied making the threats. They were booked into the parish prison and given a $10,000 bond each.
