Two accused of child trafficking at illegal club
BATON ROUGE - Police accused a Baton Rouge man of trafficking children Wednesday after police raided what they said was an illegal club with minors dancing for money.
Officers charged 39-year-old Trudell Richardson with trafficking children for sexual purposes and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Police said they received a complaint about a missing person early in the morning of March 22 and went out to 3773 Plank Road to investigate. When they arrived the officers said they found several women giving lap dances to men, and a 16-year-old girl asleep in a separate room.
Police said the girl told them she had been coerced into dancing for money.
On March 26 police arrested Kaylenceyia Carter, 19, for trafficking of children for sexual purposes. They then arrested Brooks today.
