Turkey banned men from some soccer matches as a way to curb crowd violence. Now, the Turkey Soccer Association says only women and children under 12 are admitted to games involving teams sanctioned for unruly fan behavior. Fenerbache gave out about 27,000 free tickets to women and kids for Tuesday's game against Manisaspor in Istanbul. Fenerbahce was ordered to play two matches without spectators after fans stormed the field in a previous match. The federation changed its rules this week to allow the women and children at the games.
