BATON ROUGE - After just under two hours of deliberation, a jury handed back a guilty verdict to Trucko Stampley Friday evening in district court effectively sentencing him to life in prison.
Stampley is guilty of first degree murder in the killings of Denise and Marie Pedescleaux, and Charles and Ann Colvin in 2007.
The case was given to the jury just before 5 p.m. Friday after a week of testimony. Stampley never took the stand in his defense.
The prosecution rested Thursday after three days of testimony. The defense finished presenting their case Friday afternoon.
