BATON ROUGE- State troopers found five pounds of marijuana in the back seat of a pick-up, during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 Monday night.
Patrick Alexander, 39, of Covington is charged with manufacturing/distribution of drugs and improper lane usage.
Troopers say they became suspicious of Alexander and when a K-9 dog alerted them to drugs in the car, they initiated a search and found the pot "shrink-wrapped" in plastic.
