Triumph breaks loose, throws workers into water
MOBILE- Media outlets in south Alabama are reporting the Carnival Triumph broke loose from the port where it was moored and drifted across the river.
Crew-members may be in the water. According to one report from the sheriff's office, three people went overboard; two were rescued and one is still in the water.
Towboats are being used to move the ship back in place.
The cruise company blamed the latest debacle on wind. The company said strong winds caused the ship to break from the moorings.
The Triumph has been docked in Mobile undergoing repairs since it was towed there after a fire in the engine room knocked out power in the Gulf of Mexico.
