Trio busted with stolen I.D.'s from around U.S.
BATON ROUGE - State troopers arrested three people from Florida after discovering numerous stolen licenses, credit cards and social security cards in a routine traffic stop.
Louisiana State Police officers said they pulled over the trio on I-10 in West Baton Rouge Parish for a traffic violation around 7:30 Wednesday morning. During the traffic stop, deputies said the three people were behaving suspiciously, causing police to search the car.
During the search, troopers found multiple stolen pieces of personal information. Detectives said all of the stolen information belonged to people from Florida, Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Investigators then arrested Jessica Oldaker, Lamarcus Bryant and Ezekiel Christie. All three face multiple counts of illegal possession of stolen items.
Through further investigation, troopers confirmed that at least five of the licenses with matching credit cards were stolen during a rash of car burglaries in Sebastian, Florida.
State Police will continue to investigate the matter with the help of other law enforcement agencies in other states.
