Trio busted for smoking crack cocaine, fake 'gator fight
SPRINGFIELD- Three people face charges after a 911 call where they told deputies they were being attacked by alligators.
Deputies in Livingston Parish said John Lamonte, Jennifer Lamonte and Brenda Burns were on a boat, high on crack cocaine. At least two of them thought the boat was being taken-over by aggressive alligators. The third, called for help.
Investigators said the caller told them, they were smoking drugs and two people were seeing and fighting alligators on the boat. The caller advised she was pretending to fight the alligators and was injured.
The boat was anchored on the Tickfaw River near Tin Lizzie's Bar.
The group faces a list of charges.
