Trial Tuesday for Palin e-mail hacker
A former University of Tennessee student accused of hacking Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account at the height of the 2008 presidential campaign goes to trial Tuesday. David Kernell is the son of a democratic state representative and was an engineering student at the time. Federal prosecutors say Kernell reset Palin's e-mail account password to read her correspondence, which included Alaska state business. The FBI says it tracked him through an internet screen name he previously used on chat room postings and seized his laptop comuter. Palin is subpeoned to testify at the trial.
