Trial postponed in Taser death case
The trial has been postponed for a former Louisiana police officer accused of repeatedly jolting a handcuffed man with a stun gun before he died.
In January 2008, former Winnfield police officer Scott Nugent allegedly shocked 21-year-old Baron
Pikes nine times with a 50,000-volt Taser while arresting him.
Pikes' death was ruled a homicide.
