Trend: Teen suicide increasing
BATON ROUGE - According the Centers for Disease Control, suicide is the third leading cause of death for adolescents and young adults, and the trend is on the rise.
The CDC says 149,000 young people will attempt suicide in a year, and 44,000 will carry the act to completion.
