PIERCE, NEBRASKA- Classic car collectors will converge on the small town of Pierce, Nebraska for an auction they're drooling over. A longtime car dealer stashed and warehoused about 500 unsold Chevrolet's and at least two Fords that are 60 years older, or older. The classics go up for auction September 28 and 29. Some are in bad shape having sat rusting in open fields but others were parked in the dealer showroom. They're assembled at the former Lambrecht Chevrolet car dealership and bidders from about a dozen countries will take their turns trying to get them. The auction coordinator is Yvette VanDerBrink who says "To find this many new, old vehicles is unheard of. It's like a white buffalo".
