Transgender student says he lied
SAN FRANCISCO- A transgender teen who claimed to police on Monday he was savagely beaten and sexually assaulted at school recanted on Tuesday.
It came after further questions from detectives in Hercules, a suburb of San Francisco.
The 15-year-old first claimed three boys attacked him in a bathroom at school, pushing him into a large stall.
The teen is biologically female but identifies as male.
After further questioning, police determined it didn't happen.
