Trailer dealer to get license back
HOLDEN - A Livingston Parish trailer dealer shut down by the state Used Motor Vehicle Commission should get its license back no later than tomorrow.
Hood Motor Sports in Holden was selling used FEMA trailers but not delivering titles to new owners.
The commission says the dealer owed money to his investor for the trailers, causing the investor to withhold the titles.
That money has now been paid, and the titles have now reached the buyers.
The commission launched an investigation after learning that the company failed to renew its operating license at the end of the year.
