BATON ROUGE - State transportation officials warned drivers to watch for big trucks and construction crews during two projects on I-10 and I-12.
The construction, part of the Geaux Wider project, will take place overnight this week.
Officials asked drivers on I-12 to watch for lane closures between Juban Road and Walker South Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
They also asked drivers on I-10 to watch for nightly lane and ramp closures between Highland Road and Siegen Lane as paving work continues.
The lane closures and construction crews could cause delays for people traveling through the work zones. Geaux Wider officials asked drivers going through at those times to plan ahead.
