Officers in Livingston took more than 100 pounds of marijuana off the street after a late-night traffic stop.

Livingston Police arrested Donna Stanley of Florida around 9 p.m. Tuesday night after stopping her car for a traffic violation on Interstate 12.

Officers said Stanley was very nervous when they asked her if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, and refused to let them look inside.  After a K9 unit was called in to check the car officers checked the trunk and found six bundles of marijuana wrapped in plastic that weighed more than 100 pounds.  They also found a small handgun in the car after searching further.

Stanley was arrested in suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm and drugs at the same time.  She was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail.
