BATON ROUGE - Emergency responders and helicopters were called out to a wreck this morning for a wreck on I-10 West at the Whiskey Bay Bridge.
According to EMS, an 18-wheeler and another vehicle were involved. They said ambulances and a helicopter were en route to the scene, but injuries were still unknown at the moment.
The Department of Transportation and Development said the wreck happened between the Whiskey Bay and Butte LaRose exits around 9:40 a.m. Traffic was down to one lane for a time, but all lanes were re-opened just after 10:30 a.m.
