TPSO: Two arrested after burglary
HAMMOND - Sheriff's deputies arrested two people after a burglary in Tangipahoa Parish Monday.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards said deputies arrested Nicole Pierce, 35, and Dewayne White, 48, of Hammond in connection with the thefts.
Edwards said a deputy was called out to a home on Highway 190 West in reference to a burglary on April 29. The deputy interviewed witnesses and gathered information in the area, identifying Pierce and White as possible suspects.
Edwards said the deputy later found the pair and the stolen items. He arrested Pierce and White and booked them into the parish jail.
Both face charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. White faces an additional charge of burglary.
