HAMMOND- The town is buzzing over Saturday's potentially record-breaking Southeastern Lions' football game.

In addition to the fact that the game is expected to be a sellout, it is also the first time in fifty years that the team could go to the conference championship. SLU plays Sam Houston at Strawberry Field Saturday at 3 p.m.

The game is also the "Gold Out" game where fans are encouraged to wear gold. T-shirts around town are hard to find.

"We've sold out of a lot of our gold items," Brennan McAndrew with S&S Sports Center said. McAndrew said there has been an increase in business since the Lions are doing so well.
