Tour buses to require seat belts
WASHINGTON - Starting November of 2016, all new tour buses and buses that carry people between cities will need to have seat belts.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is finally requiring seat belts after nearly 50 years of recommendations from federal accident investigators.
According to the NHTSA, An average of 21 people are killed in tour bus and motorcoach accidents each year.
