PRAIRIEVILLE - Dozens of houses in the area around Prairieville Middle School got another round of rough storms Monday, just two weeks after a tornado took out roofs, walls, cars and trees.
Several homes that were damaged from tornado damage were left exposed to the rain. Materials on the few properties where rebuilding has begun also collected water throughout the day.
Some people said the recent storm scared them more because of the last one, both for their own safety and for the work that's started.
The National Weather Service deemed the March 21 tornado an EF 1, with winds ranging from 89 to more than 100 miles-per-hour.
