Toppled tree cleared, lanes open on I-10
BATON ROUGE- All lanes were cleared of debris and opened to traffic on I-10 East between Dalrymple and Perkins about two hours after a tree toppled onto the interstate.
At one point, only one lane in the eastbound direction was open as crews worked to get the car from under the tree and clear the debris. The incident slowed traffic on both sides.
On I-10 East, traffic was problematic to LA 415 and had also become an issue on I-110.
The drive is troublesome in other areas due to the rain and heavy traffic because of an extended holiday weekend the state reported.
