LEEVILLE - DOTD said toll operations will resume at the LA 1 Expressway in Leeville Tuesday, September 11 at 10 a.m.

Toll collection had been suspended since Hurricane Isaac posed a threat to the area, in order to facillitate evacuations.

Automated tolls and manual toll collections will be working normally, but the in-lane cash and charge machine was severely damaged when a large truck struck it last month. DOTD expects to have a new one installed sometime this fall.
