STONEWALL, La.- DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Cpl. Garland Hensley says a toddler ran to the open door of his grandmother's moving car for one last kiss before she left - but fell and was killed when she panicked and hit the gas instead of the brake.
Hensley tells The Times of Shreveport that 2-year-old Jager Arthur of Stonewall was flown from a DeSoto Parish EMS station to LSU Hospital in Shreveport, where he was pronounced dead.
He says the death Saturday was ruled accidental.
