Three people, including an 11-month-old child were injured, after a shooting erupted at a block party in Metairie.

Deputies say an 18-year-old woman was shot in the arm and an 11-month-old child received a graze wound to the head.

Crime scene technicians say they recovered a number of spent shell casings scattered about the area where the incident began.
