Authorities say a 1-year-old boy died after he was run over by a truck driven by a family member in northwestern Louisiana.

The Caddo Parish sheriff says deputies responded to a home near Ida on Saturday and found the child - Stretton Driver - who had been outside playing. The Times of Shreveport reported that an uncle backed up his pickup and accidentally ran over the child, who had been playing near a tricycle.

The victim died at LSU Hospital in Shreveport.
