Today last day for morning-after pill appeal
NEW YORK - The government only has until today to appeal a New York judge's ruling to lift age restrictions on the morning-after pill.
Earlier this month the FDA lowered the age from 17 to 15, and made it available on store shelves instead of behind the pharmacy counter.
The Justice Department's failure to appeal the New York judge's ruling would clear the way for over-the-counter sales of the Plan B One-Step to even younger girls.
