A federal judge in Virginia ruled a company is entitled to the value of about 5,900 aritfacts it salvaged from the wreck of the Titanic. But, the judge postponed a decision on whether to simply give the company title to the artifacts or sell them and turn the proceeds over to RMS. The items are worth an estimated $110 million. Until the decision is made next year, RMS can retain possession of the artifacts and continue displaying them in exhibitions around the world.
