Tigers win Game 1 in Battle of the Best
Down to their final two outs, pinch hitter Danny Zardon laced one inside the left field line to score Jared Foster from second base giving the LSU Tigers a win over the visiting Texas A&M Aggies on Friday night.
Zardon broke the 3-3 tie with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning with his only hit of the night in his second at bat.
#1 LSU held a 3-2 lead heading to the top of the ninth inning, however a lead off triple came around to tie the game and set the stage for the late game drama.
Game two of the series will be Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Box.
