Tigers welcome Big Cat drill to full squad practice

BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers came together for their first full squad practice of fall camp this morning, allowing the team to conduct its initial Big Cat Drill.

In one-on-one matchups, showcasing strength and quickness, the entire team and coaching staff circles around the designated battle with head coach Les Miles running the show. Tyrann Mathieu's fiesty play was noticeable as was linebacker Kevin Minter's dominance.

In other practice news, backup quarterback Rob Bolden is running third in the order behind starter Zach Mettenberger and Stephen Rivers. Running back Alfred Blue ran second behind starter Spencer Ware. Odell Beckham, Jr. and James Wright led the receivers group.
