Tigers prep for "Showdown in T-Town"
BATON ROUGE- LSU fans are already gearing up for the big game in Alabama this weekend as the Tigers prepare to take on the Crimson Tide.
The RV Shop is preparing their fleet of rental RVs for the trip, though not as many as the last time LSU traveled to Tuscaloosa.
"We have about 13 units in our rental fleet, so we're about half booked up right now, but two years ago we were definitely slammed full," said John Spruell with The RV Shop.
At Bengals & Bandits, people are snagging up their custom "Beat Bama" t-shirts.
"Game day buttons and the Beat Bama shirt," said Eric Hedrick, owner of Bengals & Bandits,"outerwear as well for people who are going to Tuscaloosa that are expecting it to be a little bit cold."
Some fans are even wearing their colors on their heads, as expert barbers shaved in some logos at Smashing the City Barbershop on O'Neal Lane.
"More people asking for the LSU/Alabama cuts, more so LSU because we're in Baton Rouge. It's such a hype around this game, I guess with it being a huge rivalry, so people are going crazy getting all kinds of designs and everything put in their heads," said Richard "Smash" Payne, the artist behind the creative cuts.
